The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Architect with 10-15 years of experience to join our team. This role will focus on leading industrial and warehouse development projects from conceptual design through to technical execution. In this role you will lead the development of concept plans and detailed technical construction drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring all drawings meet regulatory standards for submission to local authorities. Produce high-quality 3D models and visualizations using SketchUp for project presentations and design development. Research, interpret, and apply local regulatory requirements, including building codes, car parking, landscaping, setbacks, national disability access standards, and ramp gradients. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. Oversee the preparation of project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. 10-15 years of experience as a practicing architect, with a focus on industrial and commercial developments. Extensive experience using AutoCAD to produce detailed technical drawings. Proficient in SketchUp for 3D modeling and visualizations. Strong portfolio showcasing work in multi-dwelling, commercial, or industrial projects. In-depth knowledge of local building regulations and construction standards. Excellent communication and project management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
