Description:
Metropolitan Companies is seeking a full-time Architect Level II to join our growing team! This position presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth and career longevity. The ideal candidate is someone with six or more years of professional experience and certification as a licensed professional required. This position will report to the Residential Architect Manager. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure (preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
- Experience with multi-family residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design efforts from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and project requirements.
- Develop and oversee detailed construction documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Conduct site visits, evaluate project progress, and provide technical guidance during construction phases.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate and integrate multi-disciplinary team efforts, including structural, MEP, and other consultants.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building regulations.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining quality standards.
- Mentor and provide technical support to junior architects and design team members.
- Participate in client presentations, business development efforts, and proposal preparation as needed.
