ABOUT BUILDINGS + PLACES:

Our Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building and system engineering, urbanism and planning (inclusive of landscape design), strategy +, economics, technology solutions, asset advisory, and cost and program management. Our California studio focuses on the Commercial/Corporate, Science and Technology, Higher Education, and Federal market sectors. AECOM is seeking an Architectural Designer to be based in the Los Angeles, CA office.
This position is expected to begin in /February 2025.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture or civil engineering and or related field.
  • Experience in working in REVIT

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred a minimum of two years of experience in architecture or design.
  • Demonstrates creativity, passion, and interest in planning and design.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task on multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
  • Performs entry-level work.
  • Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
  • Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
