Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Architect and Engineer to join our growing preconstruction team. This role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our projects, ensuring they align with our mission and reflect our values in every detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and initial engineering phases for Barndominium and all other projects from concept to construction documentation.
  • Collaborate with landowners to understand their vision, needs, and the strategic use of their land resources.
  • Ensure all designs are compliant with local building codes, regulations, and environmental considerations.
  • Work closely with construction teams to integrate design with practical buildability.
  • Innovate and push the boundaries in Barndominium design, setting new standards in the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
  • Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer.
  • Proven experience in residential or commercial construction, preferably with barn or agricultural structures.
  • Strong proficiency in Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Excellent project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for sustainable design and land management practices.
