Responsibilities:
The Architectural Technologist supports the successful design of construction drawings for residential and commercial projects. The roles and responsibilities include the following:
- Support the design and detailing of modular buildings, including drafting construction drawings, site plans, architectural schedules and other building aspects as required.
- Create take-off documentation and calculations to support the bidding and purchasing process.
- Guide the team in interpreting and using technical information, including building code reviews, to ensure code compliance in design work.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and engineering consultants to bring projects to life.
- Utilize building science principles to support the creation of as-built drawings and documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
