Job Description
We are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our Buildings Group in the Bowmanville or Mississauga office, in a hybrid model. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow their career in a team-based environment, working collaboratively to deliver a wide range of projects in multiple markets including transit, commercial, education, healthcare, and federal.
We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement that lets you work from home and from one of our offices in Mississauga or Bowmanville.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Architectural Technologist Diploma or related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • 1-3 years related experience as an Architectural Technologist
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Sketchup, Navisworks would be considered an asset, but not required
  • Strong conceptual and design skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intellectually curious and a willingness to learn and take accountability for your role

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of technical architectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) of buildings according to company and standard procedures for permit, tender and construction;
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, architects, BIM team and clients with minimal supervision;
  • Follow deliverable deadlines and schedules;
  • Be an active part of the design process, from schematic design to project completion.
