QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Certificate in Architectural and Building Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years’ of experience
- Certified Architectural TechnologistProficient in Word processing, design, AutoCAD and Revit applications.
- Knowledge of standard office policies and procedures
- Knowledge of procedures for the production of construction documents
- Background in building materials, specifications and construction techniques
- Understanding of building codes and standards/engineering disciplines to coordinate work
- Understanding of contractor coordination and various construction processes

Responsibilities:
As Architectural Technologist, you will provide coordination and technical support in the timely and accurate preparation of construction documents, working closely with Interior Designers, Architects and Job Captains (Lead Technologist). The candidate will assist Project Team Leads with technical aspects of the design and may act in the role of technical team member on projects with complex scope, with the amount of supervision dependent on a project’s complexity. The candidate’s background in preparing construction documents, supervising a production team and knowledge of building materials and construction techniques will be applied to projects with limited to moderate scope. The candidate will provide assistance to the Interior Designer or Project Architect during various phases as outlined below:
