Job Description
JFOC Architects is a design-led practice specialising in housing. The office has a research-based ethos with an interest in how low-cost housing can be carefully designed to provide excellent public realm and a strong sense of place. JFOC has helped deliver over 9,000 dwellings since 1987. Dominic Stevens Architects, an award winning practice, merged with JFOC Architects in 2016 and this has led to the greater focus on research within the office. This research has led to the development of new housing typologies which are now under construction.
JFOC Architects has a fully transparent salary scale which will be provided to candidates following an interview. The standard office hours are 9am to 6pm from Monday to Thursday and from 9am to 1pm on Fridays.
An experienced and ambitious Architectural Technologist with strong Revit skills is required by JFOC Architects for its practice in Harold’s Cross. The role will focus on taking projects from planning consent stage through to construction and completion.
Job Requirements

Ideally, candidates will have 5-10+ years’ experience running projects post planning and working with current legislation in Ireland, and will:

  • Have relevant work experience, ideally in multi-unit residential / commercial projects
  • Be fully familiar with Planning and Building Control regulations
  • Have experience of BCMS platform and process
  • Be proactive in keeping abreast of new technology developments and industry regulations
  • Experience in the writing and implementation of Specifications is desirable
  • Be able to manage projects on site, including attending site visits/ inspections, dealing with day-to-day site queries
  • Possess excellent Revit and AutoCAD skills with competence in other relevant software packages
  • Have a track record of working successfully across teams and ability to prioritise different project stages
