Job Description
Meitheal Architects are currently seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Technologist to join our innovative and diverse architectural team!
We are seeking skilled professionals to contribute to our exciting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural technical design and construction technology, along with excellent technical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on the development and detailing of architectural designs
• Preparing and producing technical drawings and specifications
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design integrity
• Conducting site visits
• Keeping up to date with legislation, standards, and technological innovation
• Managing BCMS and Assigned Certifier compliance on projects
• Administering contracts and project certifications
• Advising on materials, technology, and processes involved in building design

Job Requirements

• Degree in Architectural Technology or related field
• Proficiency in CAD software and BIM is essential. ArchiCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign is a bonus
• Proficiency in the BCMS platform, an experienced understanding of the Irish Building Regulations (including Parts B, L & M), the B(C)AR process, and Health and Safety requirements are all required to perform this role successfully
• Comprehensive understanding of the Planning Permission process & requirements
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
