Description:
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for someone with several years’ experience as a senior Architect, preferably in a global organization. We believe that you have experience in application operations and high availability infrastructure design, as well as agile software development. With a broad experience in cloud technologies and best practices, you will continue driving successful adoption of cloud services within our organization.
You are accustomed to making high impact technical decisions and executing against set targets. We also think that you strive to balance structure with creativity and dare to challenge the status quo when necessary to make room for innovations.
YOUR PERSONALITY IS A KEY DRIVER OF YOUR SUCCESS, BUT WE ALSO BELIEVE YOU POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:
- Several years of experience as an Architect in an international environment
- Ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders, individuals, and teams to work toward a common vision
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively express ideas and strategies. Clarifying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between Business and Technology
- A global and agile mindset, paired with a strong customer focus that ensures solutions meet business needs
- Proven capability to drive and lead technical pre-studies for new initiatives, demonstrating strategic thinking
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, allowing seamless communication in diverse environments
- A valid work permit for Sweden, if you are not an EU citizen

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Roadmap Development
Create and Maintain a Technical Roadmap for the platform’s central services, ensuring that it supports the overall business plan.
- Alignment with Cloud Strategy: Ensure that the roadmap is in harmony with the organization’s cloud strategy and target architecture.
- Platform Delivery and Operations
- Drive Architecture Reviews: Facilitate reviews of architectural concepts and solutions to enhance platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Leadership and Mentorship
- In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and leading both local and global competence networks fostering knowledge sharing and innovation. However, your leadership will also involve taking actions when needed and making key decisions that guide Foundation Services toward meaningful outcomes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Foundation Services Domain Architects, supporting their professional growth and helping them address technical challenges.
- Engagement and Collaboration
- As the Foundation Services Area Architect, your role requires strong engagement and collaboration across multiple levels of the organization and beyond with a focus on Foundation Services Domain teams.
As the Foundation Services Area Architect and a member of the Foundation Services Management team, you will play a vital role in shaping the platform architectural landscape for our organization. Your holistic view of the platform’s architectural structure and your understanding of how various initiatives interact with the surrounding environment are crucial
- With your skilled architecture knowledge, you will need to understand how different components of the architecture—systems, applications, and services—fit together
- This comprehensive view will enable you to identify potential synergies and efficiencies that can be leveraged to optimize performance and reduce costs for our platform central services
- However, this work is not done in isolation. You, in a leading position, will collaborate closely with the Foundation Services Domain Architects and Business Analyst and other stakeholders within our and outside our organization
