Description:

An opportunity has arisen for an Area Cleaning Manager to join CAS Contract Cleaning Ltd, managing communal area cleaning teams in Glasgow. This vacancy is to cover Glasgow/Central belt in Scotland.
CAS Contract Cleaning Ltd is a professional cleaning business established in 1990.
The company has steadily grown and developed by offering a quality service, delivering contracts on time within budget and to our customer’s satisfaction.
The company’s main objective is client retention and employs over 120 staff.

As an Area Cleaning Manager your duties will include:
· Adhere to all company processes, policies and procedures.
· Carry out structured inspections that ensure specifications are met and customer expectations are positively managed.
· Coach, develop and mentor the run supervisors and mobile cleaning teams to deliver professional cleaning standards.
· Manage HR and employee relation issues in accordance with the Company HR policies and in consultation with the HR Team.
· Establish and maintain a weekly schedule to ensure your time is effectively used to maximise productivity.
· Ensure that all staff are trained in and adhere to, Health and Safety and COSHH policies and procedures.
An ideal Area Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:
· Delivery of a responsive service in a customer driven environment.
· Excellent organisational and effective leadership skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to be flexible with working hours, willingness to manage change within a diverse working environment.
· Ability to work under own initiative and demonstrate effective problem solving.
· IT literate.
· Experience of managing people, ideally across multiple sites
In return you will receive a starting salary of £30,000 per annum dependant on experience, company pool car, mobile phone & tablet device.
