Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Atlantic Canada
Location: Atlantic Canada (remote based in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick)
Department: Sales
Reports to: Director of Sales Eastern Canada
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Area Sales Manager for Atlantic Canada, you will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s business within the region, including Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador.
This position will require a strong focus on sales, customer relationship management, and market growth. The Area Sales Manager will work closely with both new and existing customers to build strong business relationships and drive product adoption, ultimately achieving sales targets and contributing to regional growth
This role requires strong sales acumen, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the cannabis market in Atlantic Canada. The Area Sales Manager will be the primary point of contact for customers in the region and will need to work closely with the marketing, distribution, and product teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven track record of sales success in a B2B environment, preferably within the cannabis industry.
- Strong understanding of the cannabis industry and regulations, including market trends in Atlantic Canada.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Intermediate computer skills, fluent in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and Excel
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel across the region to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the Atlantic Canada region to drive market share growth, increase product visibility, and maximize revenue.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key retail customers within the region.
- Sales Targets & Reporting: Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to the leadership team.
- Product Knowledge & Training: Conduct a combination of regular in-person visits and virtual contacts with retailers and budtenders to provide comprehensive product knowledge training to ensure they understand the full value and benefits of the offerings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and product teams to ensure the successful execution of promotions, events, and product launches in the region.
- Territory Planning: Analyze sales trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to develop and execute an effective territory strategy.
