Description:

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Area Manager Eastern Europe for a position based mainly in the Czech Republic or Slovakia. You will work with an Italian Group operating at a European level, a leader in its sector, specializing in the production of forged rings and custom-made flanges, serving industries such as naval, wind, hydroelectric, mechanical, oil & gas, chemical, and petrochemical. Your main role will be to manage and expand the assigned customer base, focusing on strategic markets such as the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and the Balkans area.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and develop long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Fluency in Czech and English (other CEE languages are a plus).
  • Strong logical and calculation skills to manage complex and technical commercial offers.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment with a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Availability to work 70% of the time from a home office (Czech Republic) and 30% in customer visits.
  • Experience in the industry will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop relationships with companies from various sectors and distributors, working with an established customer portfolio.
  • Develop new clients in target markets, with a special focus on customer retention.
  • Present competitive offers based on customers’ technical requirements, ensuring the best balance between price, delivery, and service.
  • Collaborate with the technical team, back office, and after-sales service to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain continuous communication with the headquarters in Italy, with occasional travel when required.
  • Work independently and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills to adapt to market dynamics
