Description:

Help us make a big green dent in the universe. We’re on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution, and we need loads more people to help us make our vision a reality.
Help us build a future-proof Green Skills workforce, ready to supercharge the transition to a cheaper, flexible and fully renewable energy system. Octopus Energy Services empowers homeowners to drastically reduce their carbon footprint by installing magical Electric Heat Pumps, Solar Panels, Batteries, EV Charge Points, Smart Meters and more. Our field teams deliver an uber-friendly, five-star, in-home service to match the effortless, hassle-free journey Octopus customers experience when choosing a green future. We’ve already trained an army of green-skilled technicians, but we’re only just getting started…
As the Area Operations Manager, you will ensure customers receive the highest customer experience when transitioning to low-carbon heating. You’ll manage all installation activities to ensure they are completed on time and to a high standard. You will proactively work with your direct & indirect teams to forward plan, identifying emerging themes, challenges and opportunities across your area to become the leading heat pump installer.
You will have direct management of up to 20 field-based employees. You will work with your direct field team & cross-functional teams (sales, IS, aftercare etc) to prioritise the biggest opportunities to improve install throughput and quality, and how to roll out, test and track updates to teams in the field.
