Description:

Cobac Security provide people based security services for national clients in the retail, logistics, events and hospitality sectors , with offices in Nottingham. We believe in caring about, and growing our employees to provide the best service to our clients.
We are looking to add an Operations Manager (Security Guarding) to our team. Reporting to our Managing Director the role will cover the Midlands, Yorkshire, Manchester and Liverpool, it will be varied and fast paced encompassing all aspects of staff, contract and operational management.

The role would suit a candidate who has a mix of manned guarding, retail loss prevention and regional management experience.

  • Salary: £41,000-£43,000 + £5,000 car allowance
  • Hours: 40-45 per week including weekends
  • Job Type: Permanent full-time
  • Additional Benefits: Expenses, bonus schemes & commission

Role purpose and responsibilities

  • Managing, motivating and training employees to deliver real value and the highest standards for themselves and our customers
  • Developing strong relationships with our clients and conducting regular client meetings
  • Using and supporting the collation of company data to quantify the service we provide
  • Ensure compliance of company policies and procedures within your area, including Health and Safety and risk assessments
  • Scheduling, organising and recruiting employees to the required levels to enable consistent a high quality service to be provided

Role Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team
  • Strong operational experience
  • Exceptional client and customer relationship management skills
  • Retail Loss Prevention knowledge
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to work out-of-office hours
  • Strong IT skills, Microsoft Office, apps and scheduling systems (full training given on business specific systems)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands
  • SIA License
  • Full UK driving license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £41,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
