Description:

Southern Fuel & Farm Supplies Ltd is a leading supplier of Farm inputs, including Animal Feed, Seed, Fertiliser, Agri Hardware and Crop Care Products. Based in Cork, we now wish to recruit for this new position to support livestock farmer customers as part of our field sales team.
The ideal candidate will be from the general Cork / West Waterford area, have a good agri education and an excellent knowledge of milk & beef production, calf rearing along with a solid interest in animal nutrition including TMR systems. The successful candidate will provide Dairy / Calf / Beef customers with technical advice and support on animal nutrition, diet formulation and best practice to optimize milk production, growth & performance, so as to promote & increase the sales of our extensive and excellent product range.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and advice to feed & fertilizer customers.
  • Ensure that all customer technical queries are handled in a timely manner.
  • Regular communications with customers including farm visits.
  • Organize on farm events on relevant issues such as breeding, nutrition, calf rearing.
  • Make technical presentations, attend meetings, shows, exhibitions etc.
  • Develop solid customer relationships to build sales growth.
