Area Sales Executive - Healthier Snacking Wholesale
Up to £35,000 OTE (inc. good basic + bonus)
Fast-growing delivered wholesaler with a national reach, specializing in innovative, trend-led snacking solutions
We have an exciting, newly created, position for an Area Sales Executive to grow our key London & South Region by identifying opportunities and growing our diverse portfolio of retail & foodservice customers.
Existing accounts span several sectors including convenience, food to go, business & industry, vending and forecourts
Candidates must have experience selling FMCG (ideally branded food) successfully within retail or foodservice and must have the drive and ambition to develop their career towards Key / National Account management.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Area Sales Executive drives growth within their designated territory while developing opportunity within, and expanding, existing customer relationships.
As the face of our company in your area, you’ll be our feet on the street, adept at finding and closing new business opportunities for our exciting snacking brand portfolio. You’ll also enjoy engaging with existing customers to develop opportunities that will significantly grow ongoing relationships.
You’ll be supported closely by internal sales and a dedicated sales co-ordinator, who will handle the day-to-day account maintenance, allowing you to focus on delivering growth.
You’ll also help drive growth through the activation of national account sites, within some major forecourt retail, convenience & foodservice key customers.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Executive, Territory Manager, or similar role within the FMCG industry, with a focus on snacking or related categories.
  • Previous experience within wholesale or convenience sectors is highly desirable.

SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage accounts of varying sizes and profiles.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently to achieve targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute them effectively to meet growth targets.
  • Competent in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory regularly.
  • Ability to attend head office meetings 1-2 times per month in the North East of England.
