Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the fresh food category.
  • Monitor regional sales performance and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify sales opportunities and optimize performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design and launch promotional campaigns.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to sales teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct performance reviews for the team.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities in the fresh food sector.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term business growth.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Ensure fresh food quality standards are maintained, and proper stock levels are managed.
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee the distribution and logistics of fresh food products to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Work closely with supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, particularly for handling and storing fresh food.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 5years in a sales leadership role, preferably within the fresh food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of the fresh food market, including key customers, trends, and challenges.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently within the region.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of fresh food quality control and logistics.
  • Experience in managing a sales team and executing regional sales strategies.
  • Fluency in English
