Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the fresh food category.
- Monitor regional sales performance and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify sales opportunities and optimize performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design and launch promotional campaigns.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to sales teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct performance reviews for the team.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities in the fresh food sector.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term business growth.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Ensure fresh food quality standards are maintained, and proper stock levels are managed.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the distribution and logistics of fresh food products to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Work closely with supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, particularly for handling and storing fresh food.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience 5years in a sales leadership role, preferably within the fresh food or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of the fresh food market, including key customers, trends, and challenges.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently within the region.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of fresh food quality control and logistics.
- Experience in managing a sales team and executing regional sales strategies.
- Fluency in English
