Description:

KEY OBJECTIVES -

  • Drive Distribution, Availability, Merchandising, Pricing and Advocacy through the sales team on a set geographical territory.
  • Create great teams whose mission is to drive excellent performance in outlets – including Key Accounts, Independents, independent cash and Carry – and any other calls.
  • Developing self and others – creating an environment of strong commercial capability which will drive growth within the Field Sales arena.
  • Deliver strong team engagement with company strategy and objectives

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive, motivate and develop the team to deliver high performance & achieve individual and team KPIs.
  • Ensure each team member can deliver engaging sales presentations, using various VAK techniques and commercial information to produce a compelling reason for our products to be stocked and sold out.
  • Support the team to develop their depth of commercial understanding of all channel retailer’s operating model, including pricing and profitability dynamics
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of our retailers, market and products.
  • Organise and execute inspirational events with our retailers to maximize team effectiveness in achievement of business objectives
  • Be part of induction training and developing team members

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous or current FMCG Sales experience
  • Evidence of a talent for sales, influencing and relationship building
  • Excellent coaching and leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach the performance of others
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage, motivate and engage teams
  • Independent self-starter who can maintain high level of personal motivation
  • Experience of working to and meeting targets
