JOB SUMMARY

Kensington, the technology division of ACCO Brands Corporation (NYSE: ACCO), has a current career opportunity to join our EMEA Sales team as Area Sales Manager, Nordic region. Objective to manage our Nordic business including our channel and targeted enterprise/public sector sales opportunities as well as lead our current Business Development Manager based in Sweden at Kensington. We are looking for a results-oriented individuals to make significant contributions to the company’s overall success. Manage Kensington business in the Nordic region, which includes People Management, Multi-Channel Sales relationships with key IT Distributors and Resellers (e.g. ATEA, Dustin, Advania, Comm2ig) and targeted enterprise/public sector customers across the Nordic region as well as potential key players in B2C vertical.

QUALIFICATIONS

You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Multi Channel Partners in the IT/Technology industry, and profound understanding of Hardware and Consumer Electronics products. You have built a strong network with key stakeholders in the Nordic IT channel, and an experience with sales across the Nordic region both in the B2B and B2C verticals, is a major advantage. We are in an international environement and you will need excellent English both written and oral for customer presentation, influence and to support your negotiation skills. We believe that you can effectively manage multiple tasks and work within a pressurised environment showing diligence.
In the past, you have proven your ability to build, lead and execute teams and strategy. You are able to focus and execute in a changing environment with ability to make things happen through problem solving and decision-making skills. You will also need to be able to travel, primarily in the Nordic regionbut also globally when required.

Responsibilities:

This position will be part of the EMEA Sales team and lead the Nordic sales team, reporting to the Kensington EMEA Sales Director. You will actively participate in the sales team meetings and in cross-business initiatives where required. In this position you will be directly responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with key Distributors and Resellers at all levels. Key stakeholders at Resellers are Product Manager, Buyer, Sales Team Leaders and Key Sales Reps. We need you to be proactive and a great relationship builder.
On a daily basis, you will be identifying key End-Users and make sure we engage, search out new opportunities, identifying which products to offer and seek to get involved in the pitching process. You will be promoting the complete Kensington range to increase sales growth into strategic customers.
In this position, you will develop and execute on both annual and quarterly business plan and understand the customer’s strategies and goals to align Kensington products and services to build long term partnerships. In order to track sales opportunities and bids, you will fully utilize Safesforce.com (SFDC) as well as conducting Gap Analysis either from Distributor POS data or CMR data, or from our TIER 1 resellers. Monitoring the market, maintaining an awareness of competitor activity and provide feedback to marketing/management is natural part of the job.
