ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Strategic, action-oriented leader with strong management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding and working knowledge of industry, market trends, and provider customer types is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of managed care plans, insurance carriers, referrals, and precertification procedures, as well as documentation guidelines
- Competitive spirit, with customer-focused attitude
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external employees at all levels
- Knowledge and proficiency with standard office software applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
- Strong proficiency with sales and CRM software tools, as well as proficiency in using technology for communication and data analysis, such as Tableau
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in business management, healthcare management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in provider healthcare business development, ideally in a referral-based business
- Experience with managing a team including sales, account, and sales operations staff preferred but not required
- Proven track record of success in service-based, provider sales environment, including but not limited to improved rep performance over time, increased market share capture from existing referral sources and the development of novel selling strategies
- Proven experience building, managing, tracking, and executing upon a sales pipeline of prospects
Responsibilities:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for leading the companys efforts to market its services to specialty providers across IVX Healths current and new markets to achieve revenue and growth targets within a specific geographical area. This individual will manage a field-based sales team across multiple markets focused on specialist provider offices and will be expected to provide leadership, sales management and coaching to drive provider referrals and patient encounters as the Company seeks to achieve its growth objectives. The Area Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and ensure the team meets or exceeds sales quotas.
