We are on the hunt for a skilled and dynamic Area Sales Manager to drive our customer acquisition and sales growth in the UK, a critical market for us. Armed with stellar communication skills, you will serve as the vital conduit between the market and our headquarters, steering our successful market positioning. As a compassionate sales expert, you will embody the “Face to the Customer,” adeptly representing our company across various business relationship levels.
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Extensive professional background in the commercial vehicle industry
- Demonstrated success in sales
- Technical acumen and commercial savvy
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a business-proficient demeanor
- High degree of self-motivation, with a focus on goals and solutions
- Preferably an existing network within the commercial vehicle industry
- Proven ability to manage the sales process from planning to closure
- Strong business insight and industry knowledge
- Proficient use of IT sales tools for everyday needs (PC, MS Office, CRM tools)
- Proficiency in English; German is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to represent the company and its products at trade fairs and events
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing market and competition analysis
- Cultivation and preservation of robust, enduring customer relationships by partnering with them and addressing their needs
- Enhancement of technical customer service
- Oversight of the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract finalization
- Facilitator and spokesperson between the market and headquarters
- Formulation and realization of strategic and operational sales objectives
- Documentation and reporting of sales and marketing endeavors
