Job Description
Reporting to the Director of National Dealer Sales, the ideal candidate will support sales operations & marketing by researching, compiling, and analyzing marketing and sales information, in order to provide sound recommendations to support the business’ strategic plan and target goals. This will be achieved by collecting and analyzing a high volume of information, summarizing data and trends, and presenting suggestions for continuous improvement and enhancement. This candidate will be the Liaison to Stakeholders in HQ for various initiatives.
A typical day
- Business data analysis of Sales Metrics and KPIs: using various databases and pulling them together to identify gaps and provide recommendations to Channel Sales Leaders;
- Provide insights based off forecasts, sales data, historical & market trends, and new product info to Channel Sales Leaders
- Identify sales impact of nearby store openings/closings
- Developing Solutions with Sales Leaders: working together to identify challenges within the channel, creating actionable business strategies, providing the Channel Teams with data to compare areas and learn best practices
- Ad Hoc Reporting and Analytics Requests: (i.e. based on new promo changes; support and analysis of temporary campaigns; promo code misuse)
- Identify, propose, plan and execute potential local events and sales & marketing initiatives to grow Freedom wireless share within the channel
- Project manage marketing campaigns leveraging cross-site teams and resources - including working with HQ stakeholders
- Review ROI results and lesson learned for post-event/initiatives
- Provide post event/initiative post mortem, and highlighting best practices recommendations for future events/initiatives
- Management of company owned event assets, ensuring that assets are being directed and returned
- Maintaining a campaign database that can be referenced for future use
- Coordination and tracking of special projects
- Assist in creating and presenting Marketing & Sales presentations at weekly/monthly sales meetings
- Contribute to creating and presenting ad hoc special projects as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous business experience with a marketing or sales emphasis (1 - 3 years of experience)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Retail leadership experience required
