During this internship you will help with validation and implementation of different materials and processes, assist product testing (methodology, testing, report, recommendation) and help on various administrative tasks related to ballistic shell development engineering processes and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Montreal Armor Lab development operations and engineering process improvements;
  • Participate in the design of innovative armor products intended for protective applications;
  • Assist Armor Development Engineers in being the vital link between Industrial Design, Tooling, Research and Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Galvion’s suppliers;
  • Validate technologies and produce working demonstration systems which integrate new technologies with existing Galvion products;
  • Design, execution and analysis of experiments, first-article inspection, material selection and similar tasks associated with armor development;
    Assist in formulating detailed plans, develop timelines and cost estimates for development tasks and inform the armor development engineer of performance against plan as part of the Product Stage Gate Process.
