Responsibilities:
- Report findings and action plans for both technical forums and executive forums.
- Develop robust and scalable reference architecture and technical security designs (“blueprints” and requirements), to be considered in networks, whether in cloud, on-premise environments or in convergence with industrial networks (OT).
- Lead the design and incorporation of the principles of network segmentation and micro-segmentation, as well as “zero trust”, ensuring their integration with existing systems and processes.
- Actively participate in the definition and validation of Cybersecurity controls and requirements in the company’s network projects, for example those linked to Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN), Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). ).
- Define capabilities and design controls for network protection such as firewalls (application and network), balancers, gateways, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IPS), network protection systems, software-based perimeters (SDP), VPNs, encryption in transit and at rest, network access control (NAC), monitoring tools, etc.
- Develop and maintain security architecture artifacts (e.g., models, templates, standards) that can be used to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations.
- Collaborate with project teams, development, IT, and other areas and business units to ensure network and cloud security solutions meet organizational needs.
- Perform technical risk assessments and gap analysis in network security controls and architectures.
- Collaborate with OT Cybersecurity areas to ensure the standardization of controls, especially those related to convergence between IT networks and industrial networks (OT).
