Description:

The Ganek Immersive Studio, a technology incubator within the School of Cinematic Arts, is seeking a full-time Studio Manager. Our studio is dedicated to advancing emerging interactive technologies with a primary focus on Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Interactive and Immersive Experiences.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in current technologies, production methodologies, and software essential for creating VR and AR experiences. Proficiency with Unreal Engine is a requirement, and familiarity with VR production is highly desirable. The successful applicant will have experience within a university setting and hold a BA, MA, MS, or MFA in disciplines such as Game Design and Development, Film Production, Visual Effects, or Animation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates seeking to broaden their expertise in a production and research-focused environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated success in VR production.
  • Advanced proficiency with Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with Unity Game Engine.
  • Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and Fusion.
  • Experience with Houdini Engine for Unreal and Unity.
  • Expertise in VR, stereo cameras, and production techniques.
  • Proficiency in photogrammetry and Gaussian splats.
  • Experience in project management and producing.
  • Familiarity with Python programming.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence libraries.
  • Experience with production involving Apple Vision Pro.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

The hourly range for this position is $29.98 - 34.27.
