REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with RPG IV, RPGLE, and CL programming languages on the AS/400 platform.
• Database Management: Knowledge of DB2/400 and SQL for database operations.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience: Typically, a minimum of 5 years in AS/400 system design and programming.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Additional Skills: Familiarity with COBOL, Java, or other programming languages; experience with EDI systems; knowledge of modern development methodologies.

• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and processes.
• User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
