REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with RPG IV, RPGLE, and CL programming languages on the AS/400 platform.
- Database Management: Knowledge of DB2/400 and SQL for database operations.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience: Typically, a minimum of 5 years in AS/400 system design and programming.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with COBOL, Java, or other programming languages; experience with EDI systems; knowledge of modern development methodologies.
