TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) months recent related experience. Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Possesses a high level of knowledge regarding substance use disorders, mental health challenges, treatment, and recovery and is familiar with and understands the “Housing First” model and the importance of bio-psycho-social-spiritual support in addressing these challenges.
- Follows and practices protocols and procedures consistently and faithfully and maintains effective routines;
- Has a firm awareness of and maintains healthy boundaries and practices and demonstrates self-care.
- Is able to understand and contribute to the therapeutic culture of ICCS within their own position and team.
- Has a demonstrated ability to manage and balance role responsibilities and interpersonal dynamics in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:
POSITION PURPOSE
As a key member of the program team, the Asleep Overnight Worker supports the program by being on site during overnight hours and waking to attend to unusual circumstances as required. Provides assistance with morning and evening routines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sleeps through the night hours and is required to wake in order to attend to unusual night-time needs that arise with the clients.
- Supports clients with the household morning and evening routines such as meal preparation, cues and reminders, and basic housekeeping.
- Distribute medication and supervises clients to administer their medication in accordance with established policy, Assisted Living Regulations, and each client’s individual care plan.
- Ensures that residents follow house rules.
- Responds to emergencies in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Completes related records such as logbooks, charts and incident reports.
- Secures the building by arming alarms and locking doors and windows.
- Performs other related duties as required.
