ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking to make a difference in a healthcare environment? As an Administrative Officer with SA Medical Imaging (SAMI), you will play a vital role in providing efficient administrative support to the Campus Operations Manager, Office Manager, and both internal and external stakeholders. Working individually or as part of a small team, you may be rostered across various administrative areas on a rotating 7-day roster, ensuring seamless operations across the service.
Your primary responsibilities will include general administrative tasks, patient identification, and data entry into the Radiology Information System (RIS). You’ll also manage scheduling for medical imaging services, interpret medical imaging terminology, and communicate preparation details to patients and referrers according to SA Medical Imaging guidelines. Additionally, you’ll facilitate the provision of reports and images via various formats, supporting the delivery of high-quality medical imaging services to patients and healthcare providers.
