Your Contribution
As an Asphalt Field Technician, you will work in collaboration with the Materials team

Responsibilities:

Field inspection and testing during placement of hot-mix asphalt to match current DTI requirements - including overseeing sampling, coring, temperature and compaction verification, etc;
Familiar with current DTI End-Result-Specification Asphalt specifications including sampling intervals, and placement requirements;
Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding;
Reviewing roadway for damage prior to, and following paving operations;
Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor;
Maintain proper record of field test results for review and subsequent submissions; and
Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.
Your Profile
Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety;
Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent);
Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar engineering field;
Team-oriented and an excellent communicator;
Valid driver’s license; and,
Willingness and ability to travel on a required basis
