EdEx are exclusively working with a mainstream secondary school in Waltham Forest (East London) to find x2 Teaching Assistants (Aspiring Clinical Psychologist - Teaching Assistant) to work in the schools Speech, Communication and Language provision, supporting children with various needs including Speech and Language, Communication, Social, Autism (Verbal and Non-Verbal) needs & more!

Responsibilities:

WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO DO THESE ASPIRING CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST - TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLES?

  • A graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1 - subject isn’t a barrier, ideally from a reputable university
  • Good A-Levels and GCSEs - including English at GCSE
  • Previous experience supporting children, young people or adolescents - Essential


    • This can be tutoring, nannying, babysitting, volunteering or personal experience!

      • A genuine passion for supporting young people with barriers to learning
      • An inquisitive, warm and nurturing personality!
      • Must be able to speak confidently and calmly - personality is everything in these roles!

      ROLE DETAILS - ASPIRING CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST - TEACHING ASSISTANT:

      • Teaching Assistant - Supporting various needs
      • Monday to Friday - No weekends
      • School Hours - typically 8:30am - 4:00pm
      • £105 - £110 per day - paid weekly (Term Time Only)
      • ASAP Starts
      • Long term contract - at least till the end of this academic year (July 2025)
