Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Role: Perform advanced, specialized, or prototype production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies using automated assembly processes. May also provide guidance to other assemblers during operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: 15-20 years of relevant experience.
  • A&P License: While an A&P license is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates with significant experience in the aviation industry, even without the A&P, may be considered.
  • Aircraft Maintenance: Extensive experience with aircraft maintenance, flight readiness, and system troubleshooting.
  • Specialized Experience: Experience with exterior panels, paint, sealant, titanium foil, composite repair, and aircraft systems (power, hydraulics, IFE - In-Flight Entertainment).

PHYSICAL AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regular and predictable attendance is a must.
  • Candidates must be able to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) depending on business needs.
  • Must be able to successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements.
  • Training: Approximately 6 weeks of training will be provided.
  • Dress Code: Teamwear will be provided at the designated teamwear store.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be part of a travel team, working on various aircraft throughout their build process, which means tasks will vary by aircraft and location, rather than being assigned to a fixed position.
  • Remove and install structural and mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems as part of the production process.
  • Support systems repair, including performing functional and operational tests.
  • Conduct system installations and ensure aircraft systems are properly integrated.
  • Work with and maintain IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) systems, including testing and troubleshooting.
