JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As an Assembly Engineer at Vitestro, you will be responsible for the hands-on assembly, testing, calibration, and documentation of our cutting-edge medical devices. You will work within the production team to ensure that each device is meticulously built to our high-quality standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow precise assembly instructions. You will play a key role in bringing our innovative devices to life, contributing to the advancement of automated blood draw technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex (sub)systems and fully integrated devices according to detailed specifications and assembly instructions.
  • Test and calibrate devices to ensure they meet performance requirements and industry standards.
  • Perform detailed inspections of assembled components to verify quality and adherence to technical drawings.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to resolve any assembly issues and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation, including assembly logs, test reports, and calibration records, is accurate and complete.
  • Follow strict quality control procedures and maintain compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify and report any defects or non-conformities during assembly, testing, or calibration processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize workflow and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for device assembly and testing.
  • Actively participate in training and development programs to keep skills up-to-date with industry advancements.
