Description:

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly and configuration of gas analyzers of a wide range of specifications. This role requires an individual who is diligent and has excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate issues and observations to the Production teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Knowledge of ATEX principles

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Mechanical configuration of base unit analysers for first article testing, engineering analysers for method development testing/prototyping and customer analysers returned for re-configuration
  • Installation of electronic components following ESD Safety
  • Manufacture and installation of 1/8” & 1/16” Pipework
  • Assembly and wiring of Electrical cabling
  • Creation of controlled documentation packsMaintenance and repair of in-house and customer returned analysers

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • IT skills, specifically Office 365
  • To take hands on approach to problem solving
  • Customer Service experience
  • Ability to work to customer specific drawings and diagrams
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power toolsHNC/HND or equivalent experience in science or technical subject, with practical manufacturing experience and/or Experience of analytical instrumentation
