Description:
AFCO Performance Group will be hiring a Racing Equipment Assembly Technician in Boonville, Indiana.
Daily activities may include reviewing detailed work instructions for a build, reviewing whether provided components meet general quality requirements, reviewing video and/or electronic build instructions and building the final product. You will use hand tools such as wrenches, heat guns, hand drills and other equipment to perform daily tasks to build racing tire pressure gauges, race car gauge dash panels and other race car equipment. Most positions do not require repetitive heavy lifting, but you need to have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. In addition, you will likely flex to many different work areas in the company, as needed.
We are looking for a team member that enjoys daily or weekly goal setting and teaming up to exceed expectations. We are currently working 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:40pm. The most successful team members are competitive and keep score, adapt well to change, notice defects and details naturally, and sincerely care about others & enjoy a family-like atmosphere.

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Frequent pinching, grasping and fine manipulation with fingers.
- High school diploma or a GED
- Maintain good attendance in accordance with AFCO’s attendance policy.
- Good oral communication skills
- Completion of background check and drug screening prior to employment
- Physical dexterity, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work and follow simple to more complex instructions.
- Teamwork mentality and cooperative attitude toward co-workers and supervisors
