Responsibilities
- Build trust and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Operations, Network (Linehaul) and Finance teams, as well as implementing best supply chain/inventory management practices and suggest improvement of inventory management process to obtain increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in forecasting demand and coordinating supply planning to meet Operations needs.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to support accurate planning processes.
- Maintain and update master data in technology systems chosen by Leadership, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct twice per year a physical inventory audit of the assign region to reconcile physical stock counts with computerized records.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Work closely with the Purchasing team to proactively monitor new inventory purchases from the Intake-2-Pay platform being delivered in assigned region.
- Participate in the development and documentation of supply chain processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to implementation efforts.
- Support various supply chain initiatives and projects as assigned, providing data analysis and insights.
- Collaborate with Operations staff to optimize storage space and streamline inventory processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time.
- Generate reports to track key supply chain metrics and performance indicators monthly.
- Assist in analyzing data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Review and maintain proper replenishment parameters in line with the inventory movements and status.
- Coordinate internal movement of excess inventory and/or returns to vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field with1-2 years of prior related experience. Or,
- College or Professional Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience in supply chain, logistics or a related area (internships included).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with technology systems such as ERP or Asset Management Systems.
- Works independently under regular direction and guidance on non-routine tasks requiring judgement and initiative.
- Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written). Being a pan-Canadian company, bilingualism is preferred to ensure communications between all bases across the country.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good ability to use a computer and learn new software.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet.
- Demonstrate resourceful skills
