Description:
TE KŌWHIRINGA | THE OPPORTUNITY
Downer holds a long-term Asset Management and Facilities Management (“AM/FM”) contract with the Department of Corrections and the Ministry of Justice. This involves the proactive management and delivery to the national portfolio of facilities including 15 prisons, 100 courts and 157 community correctional sites. This contract underpins the provision of availability of facilities to support core Government services.

- Desirable qualifications include a tertiary IT degree and experience in property/facilities management and advanced asset management.
Responsibilities:
The Asset Coordinator supports the Asset Information Manager in maintaining and improving the accuracy and integrity of the Asset Register. Key responsibilities include administering the change process for asset information, ensuring timely updates to the register, and maintaining compliance with ISO 55000 standards. Additionally, the Asset Coordinator collaborates with the broader Asset Management team to enhance overall asset management practices.
