Description:
EXPERIENCE:
- Education: Engineer degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s in a technical field with substantial experience.
- Up to 5-7 years of experience in industrial operations.
- Specific experience in on-site activities (operation and/or maintenance) is a plus.
- Fluent in German, with a good command of English; proficiency in French and Dutch is advantageous.
- Technical knowledge of rotating machinery.
- Fundamentals of HSE and process safety, including hazards, barriers, and human factors.
- Familiarity with products (GH2, LH2) or related technologies is a plus.
- Experience in coordinating and supervising multiple providers.
- Results-oriented with strong prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operation of multiple hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) in alignment with company expectations for regulatory compliance, health, safety, environment, quality, reliability, security, and efficiency.
- Oversees day-to-day operations, including hydrogen supply scheduling and supply chain management.
- Collaborates with governmental agencies and relevant external and internal parties to maintain regulatory compliance, including obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
- Participates in root cause analysis of incidents and non-conformities occurring within the region.
- Manages maintenance activities, primarily through contracted service and maintenance companies, ensuring a focus on safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Involved in the technical prescription and selection of relevant providers, ensures proper execution of service level agreements (SLAs) through KPI definition and review, and conducts regular business reviews.
- Ensures the definition and availability of critical spare parts inventory through outsourced companies.
- Reports periodically on selected KPIs and strives to continuously improve station performance.
- Engages in projects at an early stage to facilitate a smooth handover of new hydrogen stations within the assigned perimeter.
- Ensures continuous improvement in technical and commercial performance, including safety, environment, quality, availability, and cost.
- Accountable for regulatory compliance.
- Coordinates and liaises with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal operation of hydrogen stations, particularly in multi-energy sites.
- Ensures smooth handover of new hydrogen stations and oversees appropriate decommissioning when necessary.
