Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Veolia ANZ is seeking an Asset Engineer to ensure efficient and effective management of our Water assets based in Newcastle, 2300. In this role you will be responsible for analysing performance data, developing maintenance strategies, and leading the implementation of asset management plans.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse performance data and develop reports from CMMS/EAM systems to identify improvement opportunities
- Identify gaps and ensure the accuracy of asset data, coordinating with client CMMS
- Facilitate handover of new assets and establishment of maintenance programs
- Lead development and implementation of asset management strategies
- Develop new maintenance programs utilising RCM and other methodologies
- Conduct root cause analysis on asset failures and deliver mitigation solutions
- Provide inputs for asset criticality, condition assessment, and capital planning
- Facilitate expert reviews to optimise maintenance and critical spare parts
- Develop business cases for asset renewals, improvements, and capital works
- Develop documentation to enable maintenance compliance and best practices
- Visit sites, hold meetings, participate in training, develop reports and budgets
- Ensure adherence to maintenance standards from Veolia, clients, and regulations
