Description:
Due to a growing workload and an exciting new project pipeline, Stantec are looking to recruit Asset Inspection Surveyors to join our team. The role is based from our Newcastle office. Although the role is based in Newcastle, the nature of the role mean that some travel to sites across the UK will be required, with the potential for overnight stays for some locations.
As an Asset Inspection Surveyor you will undertake a wide variety of survey and data collection activities; including physical site work, desktop assessment, and interaction with clients and partner organisations. You will take the lead on data gathering and assessment of asset condition, performance and management from a wholistic perspective and will gather data in a variety of formats from paper and photos to advanced digital applications (training will be provided on digital applications where required).
Our Asset Surveyors are part of our Advisory Services division, working in a collaborative environment to provide strategic, resilient and innovative asset management solutions to our clients. You will work as part of the wider team to support asset management and surveying projects across sectors including the Water, Energy and Infrastructure sectors.
Teamwork and knowledge sharing is an important part of the role as surveying work will often be performed alongside other surveyors with complimentary experience. There will be the opportunity to help develop colleagues and also opportunities for training to support your own development and to allow upskilling around new surveying and data collection techniques.
If you are looking for a new challenge – working on a wide variety of asset inspection and surveying within a collaborative and supportive team – then we would love to hear from you.
