Description:

The Asset Coordinator will primarily be responsible the site asset collection, sites survey and condition audits of customer property portfolios. The key focus is the complete building envelope including Building Structure, Building Fabric and Building Engineering Services. The purpose of this role is to ensure BGIS capture accurate asset data using BGIS asset management systems and processes, in a format that can then which can be consumed by BGIS Asset Management Information Systems for the purpose of scheduling of planned preventive maintenance strategies.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Strong computer skills, use of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint and MS Project.
  • Competent in use of mobile technology tools and software used for capture and analysis of assets.
  • Able to read, interpret and assign data attributes against assets.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment with aggressive timelines.
  • Knowledge of building services and general building maintenance.

Desirable

  • Strong demonstrated experience in a property or corporate real estate environment or in a similarly complex industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear, concise and tactful communication with Managers, clients, peers and other team members.
  • Proven ability in working within an integrated services and property model delivering a Property Management, Facilities Management, Project Management and Financial Management Services

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree, Associate Diploma or Trade Certificate in Engineering, Construction or Building Surveying

Responsibilities:

This role will be based in Mascot, NSW, but will require Asset coordination and auditing across other states over the due period of time, which may require travelling.

Using a flexible and adaptable approach, the responsibilities of the Asset Coordinator include:

  • Assist in the maintenance and management of the contract’s equipment asset registers.
  • Assist in the development of maintenance tasks/schedules for all contracts which fall under the main BGIS contract.
  • Monitor and assist in the management of contractor performance.
  • Perform on site asset collection, sites survey and condition audits across the contracts Portfolio. This may include travel.
  • Actively work towards closing out any potential gaps in the contract’s asset register.
  • Development of scheduling or actioning, delegating and managing all maintenance client or tenant requests;
  • Manage and maintain the CMMS system capturing all Preventative and Reactive work orders for the site/s;
  • Delegate and allocate work orders as required to ensure contract requirements and KPI’s are achieved;
  • Support and assist the Contract Manager / Facilities Managers on daily tasks as required;
  • OHS & E policies and procedures are met and maintained by all stakeholders.
