Description:
Skill Farm Experts Are Invited to Apply for the Following Role:
Responsibilities:
Demonstrated understanding and utilization of the properties of LNG, trade flows, fundamental market analysis, pricing, transportation, risk management and supply chain economics to assist in developing arbitrage opportunities and strategies.
Actively participate with the global GSAT teams (traders & analysts) to develop the global LNG team’s fundamental supply and demand viewpoint and drive physical and financial trading strategies in the Trading time horizon, always with a sharp focus on earnings generation and control of associated risks.
Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships in line with Atlantic Basin LNG expansion, collaborate closely with other business units, traders, analysts, and schedulers within a global diverse team and with external trading partners.
Work alongside the LNG Financial Traders and act as Subject Matter Expert for LNG across the wider Chevron enterprise.

Skills:
Minimum 2 years of trading experience in the LNG market, specifically in the Atlantic Basin
Experience in LNG contract negotiations
An academic degree is required in one of the relevant fields, such as: Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management or Marketing.
Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability in applying and leveraging digital tools and technology (strong Excel/VBA/PowerPoint) to provide solutions, and quantifying risks to support trading strategies.
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and to represent the strategy and the team both internally and externally in a concise and articulate way, both orally and in writing
