Description:

ActioNet has an opportunity for an Asset Manager requiring a Public Trust clearance in the Washington, D.C., metro area. Hybrid work is available. In this role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of an organization’s physical assets, from acquisition to disposal. Their primary goals are maximizing asset utilization, reducing costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role involves developing and implementing asset management policies, maintaining accurate asset records, coordinating with vendors, managing budgets, and leading a team of asset management professionals. The right candidate will work well with a team, always exhibit excellent customer service skills, and be self-motivated, seeking ways to improve the environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the lifecycle of enterprise assets, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal
  • Ensure accurate asset tracking and reporting
  • Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all assets
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies
  • Coordinate with vendors for the procurement and maintenance of assets
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
  • Develop and manage the asset management budget
  • Monitor and report on asset-related expenditures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with asset management
  • Lead and manage a team of asset management professionals
  • Provide training and support to team members

Basic Qualifications (required):

  • Eight (8) years of managing and leading successful and consecutive commensurate experience in enterprise asset management
  • Significant experience supporting financial/regulatory agencies (e.g., Federal Reserve Board (FRB), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC))
  • Strong understanding of federal regulations and standards related to asset management
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise assets and leading a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools
  • Works well within a team and understands the importance of quality customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or related field
  • Certifications in Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional, ITIL 3 or 4, Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP), Certified Information Technology Asset Manager (CITAM), or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
