JOB DESCRIPTION
Akelius is seeking an experienced and decisive asset manager to join the property management team.
The Asset Manager is a leadership position that oversees all financial and operational aspects of the portfolio, including property management, leasing, construction, and maintenance.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the net operating income of a portfolio size of $500 million, approximately 25 properties.
The Asset Manager will closely work with the regional vice president and property management team to implement their overall strategic plan.
- leadership position, oversee all aspects of the branch including property management, leasing, construction and maintenance
- responsible for the net operating income of a portfolio
- oversee budgeting process and insure executing operations within the budget parameters
- identifying and realize income generating and cost reducing strategies
- analyzing reports and develop strategies to achieve goals
- ensure first class service for our residents
- in charge of monthly reporting including, market valuations, cash flows and cost analysis, risk factors, and operation efficiencies
- post-acquisition activities, such as integration of asset onto company’s property management software
- oversee capital improvement projects and unit upgrade program
- create investment analysis and application
- other duties as assigned
