DESCRIPTION

We are currently a Asset Store Technician to help support the management and day to day operation of the university’s busy asset store, which loans an extensive range of technical equipment to a wide variety of students and staff across the various campuses at Bath Spa University.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Within the role as Asset Store Technician, you will provide the management and maintenance of the equipment, along with detailed reports on the depreciation and procurement.
The role will involve setting up and dismantling equipment, managing equipment loans, and overseeing maintenance and repairs. Prioritising safety will be vital, and you will always follow Health & Safety procedures, safeguarding both yourself and all users of our facilities. Maintaining inventories and stock records, you’ll report any issues promptly and handle budget-related tasks such as placing orders and verifying deliveries.
You will also provide technical support to teaching and demonstration activities and to events and productions as required, across Schools Technical Services, whilst supporting the broader and deeper utilisation of facilities.
