Assistance Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and executing daily lessons and activities in line with the curriculum.
• Help prepare materials and set up the classroom for various learning activities
• Supervise and care for children during their daily routines, including mealtime, nap time, and playtime.
• Ensure children’s safety and well-being throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the classroom and ensure hygiene procedures are followed, including handwashing, diaper changing, and sanitizing toys and equipment.
• Assist children with personal care needs such as toileting and changing clothes when necessary.
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety procedures outlined by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) and the center.
• Perform regular safety checks and follow protocols during emergencies.

Qualifications (Required):

• Fundamental Certificate or Certificate in Basic Infant Care Programme.
• Experience with young children is a plus.
• Must be a team player.
• Committed to smooth daily operations.
• Able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
