As an Assistant Accountant based at CARTERS National Support Office in East Tamaki, you will play a crucial role delivering administrative and accounting assistance to the Finance, Manufacturing Invoicing and Branch Accountant teams ensuring deadlines are met and desired results are achieved. This is a diverse financial support role where you will embrace a “no task is too big or too small” mindset.
- Assist with month-end processes, including journal preparations, stocktake result compilation, invoice generation, and GL reconciliation.
- Provide accurate processing for Manufacturing Administration, including back-costing, invoicing, stock take assistance, and filing maintenance.
- Accurately process monthly rebate payments and support in maintaining customer agreements.
- Offer general banking assistance and assist with daily banking entries.
- Assist in Capex request processes, tracking, and monitoring monthly spending.

- A Business diploma in Accounting or Commerce along with previous Assistant Accountant experience is desirable
