Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our team at Fika Consultancy in Dubai . This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their accounting skills while supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a dynamic consultancy. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1 to 2 years of experience as an accountant (home country experience acceptable).
Proficiency in Tally ERP is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Proficiency in managing accounts payable/receivable, financial statements, and bank reconciliations.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including managing accounts payable and receivable.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Support in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory reports.
Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper recording in Tally ERP .
Assist in audits and resolve financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Prepare periodic financial reports for review by senior management.
Support the senior accountant in closing financial periods and year-end reports.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
