At Noorka Logistics, we are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial health of our operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the finance department in day-to-day activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining financial records, including invoices, receipts, payments, and transactions.
- Support in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant financial data and ensuring accurate payments.
- Help in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local financial regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and document management.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure that all financial procedures are followed according to company policies and legal standards.
