Assistant Accounting Manager

We are in search of an Assistant Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Commerce City, Colorado, United States. The role with report to the Accounting Manager and work very closely with the VP of the company. This role is 100% in office and is a permanent position.

• Develop standard operating procedures for the Accounting Department in collaboration with the Accounting Manager
• Manage and resolve accounting issues
• Perform monthly account reconciliations
• Manage workflow for accounts receivables and payables
• Oversee tax preparation and management, including income taxes and sales taxes, with assistance from a third-party tax consulting firm
• Serve as a secondary point of contact for international accounting procedures, subsidiary/dividend payments, reporting, audits, and general communications
• Review client documentation for tax compliance
• Process wire transfers and dividend payments
• Manage subsidiary transactions
• Troubleshoot accounting issues
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Sales & Use Tax experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in an ERP system
